Nintendo Switch Sports: golf is coming soon

The Nintendo Switch Sports game will soon welcome a new discipline: golf.

This modern take on the classic Wii Sports was released last April, but the content left something to be desired. The collection offered only 6 sports (football, volleyball, bowling, tennis, badminton and chambara), far from the 12 offered by Wii Sports Resort, released in 2009.

But Nintendo is not abandoning the players, and will add an additional activity on November 28. Golf will be available in a free update, and will feature a 21-hole course.

The game will be playable locally, as well as online, with a new mode called “Survival Golf.” Eight players will be able to compete, and one player will be eliminated in each round. Currently, it is unknown if Nintendo plans to add any other sports. Players are still waiting for boxing, which is sorely lacking in the collection.
