How about the quality?
Three types of milk sold at E-Mart.
All brands are different, but they are all made by Maeil Dairy in one place.
Prices are all different.
Maeil Milk is 2,610 won, Peacock Milk is 2,080 won, and No Brand Milk is 1,980 won.
I compared the ingredients list.
Maeil Milk and Peacock Milk have 3.6 grams of fat per 100 ml, and No Brand Milk has 3 grams.
The fat content is slightly different to suit your taste, but the rest is the same.

“I bought several times because I thought it would be okay if it was cheaper after comparing prices. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not sensitive, but I don’t think there’s a big difference…”
How about ramen?
No Brand’s ‘A Bowl of Ramen’ and Paldo’s ‘Niche Ramen’.
Both are made by Paldo, and the niche ramen costs 3,680 won for a bag of 5, and 1,980 won for a bowl of ramen.
Unlike milk, ramen also differs in quality.
It is said that Niche Ramen contains one more bag of soup and uses better raw materials.
Why do manufacturers such as Maeil Dairy and Paldo supply their products to No Brand?
You can run out of stock first.
When there is excess milk, it is more profitable to deliver it as a PB product rather than making it into powdered milk and storing it.
Relationships with large retailers are also considered.
Since you buy a lot of products, it is difficult to refuse delivery requests.
In that case, we sometimes deliver products that do not overlap with our main products.

In the era of high prices, PB products are an important strategy for retailers as well as manufacturers and consumers.
But there are not only good points.
Small company products that are not number one in the industry and cannot even be delivered to PBs are narrowing their seats.
If the number of products on the shelf is reduced due to PB products, consumers’ choices may be narrowed.
