Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that there will be no identity card related services for citizens and foreigners on December 18 and 25. This is in the context of municipal council elections these days.

ROP informed that there will be no issuance of new cards, renewal of expired cards and replacement of lost cards on these days. Voting for citizens outside the country will take place on the 18th and voting for citizens in Oman will take place on the 25th. Meanwhile, services related to Directorate General of Passports and Civil Status are available these days.
