The UK government is not going to transfer Apache helicopters to Ukraine. At the same time, the country’s Ministry of Defense is looking for suppliers of long-range missiles and armored vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is stated in the response of representatives of the British Ministry of Defense to questions from members of the British Parliament, published on May 2.

“The government currently has no plans to transfer Apache helicopters to Ukraine,” said Annabelle Goldin, deputy head of the department, to the corresponding question (quoted from TASS).

Another deputy defense minister, James Hippie, said that now the country’s authorities are planning to allocate funds from the International Fund for Assistance to Ukraine to pay for air defense systems and long-range weapons.

In January, the British edition of the Mirror reported that the delivery of Apache helicopters to Ukraine was scheduled after the shipment of Challenger 2 tanks promised by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The publication did not report delivery dates for Apache. SkyNews later reported that the UK MoD denied such plans.
