A Microsoft employee has inadvertently announced that Notepad for Windows 11 will get tab windows. The employee, one of the company’s senior product managers, posted a picture of a version of Notepad with tabs.
He deleted the tweet minutes later, but not before several Twitter accounts discovered it. The Notepad screenshot includes an internal warning from Microsoft: “Do not discuss features or take screenshots.” This warning indicates that the feature is still under internal testing in the company, but that this feature may reach Windows sometime in early 2023.
