She revealed to Al-Riyadiyya, the artist Nouf Abdullah, that the series “Tash Al-Awda” is the eighth work in which she participates in one year, stressing that she is waiting for a new role in a series that will be filmed after Eid Al-Fitr, in addition to a new theatrical experience.
Nof Abdullah participated in the series “Tash Al-Awda”, through an episode entitled “Rebound Attack”, during which she embodied the role of the player’s mother, Noura, written by Bilal Selim, and the participation of Amani Al-Salimi in the dialogue.
And about the reason for choosing the role of the mother in this episode, which centered on Saudi society, and its view of women’s sports, she said to the “athlete” Nof Abdullah: “The choice of the role was by the work crew in the series, as they saw in my personality and my Najd accent that distinguishes me as the appropriate actress.” And I feel proud because I represented the role of the ambitious woman in the Saudi family, and this role translates the support that Saudi Arabia provides towards women in all their fields.
She added: “Saudi sport is developed and follows steady steps, and this reflects the interest of the leadership, and everyone witnessed the global media’s abuse at the popular and leadership level with the historic victory of the Saudi team over Argentina in the World Cup, and the development was reflected in the development of women’s sports, the most important of which is the establishment and entry of the Saudi women’s team.” Within the official classification of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), and certainly the future of women’s sports in Saudi Arabia will be prosperous and dazzling.
Regarding her entry into the world of acting, and her most prominent series, Nouf replied: “The world of art in general and acting in particular is a childhood passion and a dream for the future for me. And I was chosen in major series and watched a lot at the level of the Arab world, and within a year I participated in eight works, namely: The Crossroads, Zaman Awal, Sundus, Shabab al-Bomb, Inheritance, Sciences of the Ancients, Manho We Weld, Tash Al-Awda.
Regarding her other interests and skills other than acting, Nouf Abdullah explained: “I am a dramatic script writer, and I now have a novel, which made me distinguished by improvisation and funny “alphabets.” And, God willing, after the Eid, I have a series and a new and distinguished role, as well as a new experience for me that I am very excited about, which is theater. I am also a news broadcaster and voiceover commentator. I worked on Al-Ikhbariya, Radio Riyadh, and the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival.
