If I owned a Roomba-branded robot vacuum, I would look at this device with suspicion from now on. Last week, Amazon announced the acquisition of iRobot, a company that manufactures Roomba, for 1.7 billion dollars. These small machines were launched in 2002 by the American company and have proven their effectiveness in automatically sucking up all the small waste on the floor. From now on, Amazon could give new missions to these robots.
