The image shows two crying babies in a kind of straitjacket and placed in car seats, also called ‘maxi-cosi’, on the floor of the school bathroom.
In statements to the press, the father of the baby explained that he had taken his son to that nursery since he was four months old and they chose it because they knew the director.
The authorities opened an investigation. Now they are looking for Roberta Regina Rossi, 40, the director of the school whose whereabouts are unknown and who has a preventive detention order.
Rossi, one of the owners of the Colmeia Mágica Infant Education School, which cares for newborns to 5-year-olds. She is suspected of “mistreatment and putting the health of minors at risk, subjecting them to humiliation or shame and torture.”

André Dias, her lawyer, commented that he knows the whereabouts of his client, but by law he is not obliged to reveal it. The lawyer denied the accusations against Rossi and argued that “someone inside the school, possibly a disgruntled official, forced the scene to harm the management.”
The authorities want to know if more people participated in the mistreatment and who recorded and distributed the recording.
According to the media, which echo records from the Prosecutor’s Office, several teachers explained that babies were left in the bathroom when they cried insistently and even, sometimes, to silence them, blankets were placed over their heads and closed. the door.
