Nyck De Vries at AlphaTauri in 2023? This is the surprise information that Julien Fébreau revealed during the first free practice session of the Singapore GP this Friday. According to the Canal+ journalist, the Mercedes reserve driver should replace Pierre Gasly at AlphaTauri. The Italian team would have made its choice after Colton Herta was denied his super license, mandatory to drive in F1.

Julien Fébreau added that the Dutch pilot himself made the approach to join AlphaTauri. Helmut Marko would have offered him a contract in the wake of his negotiations.
