An 18-year-old young man lost his life and three others are in critical condition following going off the road on Sunday in Saint-Robert, Montérégie.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) was called to the scene of the accident, on Montée Sainte-Victoire on Route 239, around 7:15 p.m.
“According to initial information, the driver lost control of his vehicle in a curve before performing one or more rolls,” said SQ spokeswoman Catherine Bernard. Four people aged 16 and 19 were inside […]. Speed may have played a role in the swerve.”
“The passenger who was found incarcerated on the vehicle died, she said late Sunday evening. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The other three are in critical condition and we fear for their lives.”
Reenactmentists and SQ investigators went to the scene to determine the circumstances of the accident.
