Egyptian Steel announced that it has raised its rebar prices today, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, bringing the delivery price from the factory grounds to 25,850 pounds per ton, inclusive of 14% of the prescribed value-added tax.
The price of the iron of the Suez Steel Company increased by about 2,500 pounds, after announcing its prices today by the company, to reach 25,850 pounds, including 14% value-added tax.
Garhi iron rose from the company’s side, bringing the price of a ton today from the factory grounds to 27 thousand pounds, and a commercial ton is sold at 27 thousand and 500 pounds, while its price for the consumer reaches 27 thousand and 945 pounds.
The iron companies had raised their prices about two weeks ago by about 1,500 pounds, a new increase per ton on average.
While the Beshay Company raised the price of iron this week by about 3,000 pounds, recording 27,360 pounds per ton from the company’s land, provided that it reaches the consumer at 28,000 pounds.
Iron prices today for the consumer
Iron prices for consumers range between 30,000 and 32,000 pounds per ton, as agents do not adhere to factory prices, especially with the scarcity of supply.
