Al-Marsad Newspaper: “Okaz” newspaper revealed the details of the dissolution of the marriage of a female citizen without financial consideration in Jeddah.
The newspaper pointed out that the citizen filed a lawsuit before the Status Court asking for the annulment of her marriage following she resorted to the protection home to escape from her husband’s violence.
She pointed out that the citizen told the court that she got married 9 years ago with a dowry of 40,000 riyals, adding that her husband abuses her and brags regarding his forbidden relations with other women.

She pointed out that the wife also reported that her husband had criminal precedents and was involved in a number of cases and was imprisoned several times in criminal cases.
She added that the court reviewed medical reports proving that the wife and her children went to psychiatry on the recommendation of the Social Protection Home.
She explained that the court indicated that the husband refuses to divorce the plaintiff, and there is no way for her except to annul the marriage with him, and the judicial department ruled to annul the citizen’s marriage without material consideration, because it was proven that she was harmed because of the differences between her and her husband.
