Frightening conditions cannot be tolerated.
Vienna (OTS) – In the Linz-Land and Weiz districts, the responsible authorities checked dog owners and found some frightening conditions. The poor and cruel animal husbandry conditions and the sometimes visible consequences of mistreatment made it necessary to take the dogs away from the owners immediately.
“The Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV) condemns such housing conditions and the mistreatment of pets in the strongest possible terms. This is not to be tolerated under any circumstances. All owners bear responsibility for their dogs and are obliged to ensure their health, their well-being and good socialization worry,” said President Michael Kreiner.
