The Constitutional Court will finally rule this Friday, March 3 on the prisoner exchange treaty which could allow the release of the Belgian humanitarian worker Olivier Vandecasteele, according to information which has been confirmed to La Libre. The original date of the verdict was March 8.

”We must do everything to get him out of there and today the transfer treaty is the only possible way expressed by the government. This is the only hope we have, because it is the only track that exists and which is validated by the government today.”, expressed the family of the humanitarian.
The Iranian government intends to exchange Olivier Vandecasteele against one of its nationals, Assadollah Assadi, who had organized an attack (foiled) against a meeting of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
