Piraeus made… a walk in the first two sets with Hidalgo and Djuric as protagonists in the attack, against a Panathinaikos team that “suffered” without a key passer and although they found more resistance in the third set, they “cleaned up” their second victory with 3-0. taking the big step for their 19th title.

Olympiacos found a reaction at the start of the first set after the first good defenses by Rangel and started to “build” small differences, taking a lot from his block with Gustavao. 18-14 was made with… abridged proceedings 25-18 for the “red and white” who reached 1-0 through their very good defense and their effectiveness in attack.

Panathinaikos equalized at 24-24 after a tremendous “rally” and great defenses by the Olympiacos players, but a set by Djuric and the 16th “red and white” ace by Hidalgo gave Olympiacos the third set and the 2 -0 in wins, which puts them one step away from the title.
The third final will be held on Thursday (18/4, 18:00) at Metz’s stadium.
