The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment requires commercial agencies in Oman to renew their contracts before they expire. The ministry said through a notice released online that the contracts should be renewed one month in advance.

Commercial agencies must submit the necessary documents to renew their contracts. Applications for registration of commercial agencies can be submitted through ‘InvestEasy’ and through service offices of the Ministry. Contracts will be canceled if registration is not renewed within 90 days from the date of expiry. A total of 853 commercial agencies were registered in Oman in the first half of this year. This includes 183 new commercial agencies, 458 renewed commercial agencies, 38 amended commercial agencies and 174 canceled commercial agencies.
