The joint statement issued at the conclusion of a two-day state visit by the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, to ​​the Emirates, during which he met with the President of the Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed, called on the regional parties to exercise the utmost restraint to spare the region and its people from the risks of escalation and instability, stressing the position of the two countries calling for Commitment to international laws, resolving differences through diplomacy and dialogue, and once once more calling on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to carry out their responsibilities to enhance international peace and security.

According to the statement, Bin Tariq and Bin Zayed discussed regional and international developments of common interest and exchanged views on them, and stressed strengthening coordination in their positions in a way that serves common interests and strengthens the foundations of stability and security in the region, stressing their positions calling for stability, security, prosperity and development for all countries and peoples of the region and the entire world. .

Regarding bilateral economic and investment matters, the President of the UAE and the Sultan of Oman stressed the importance of stimulating and encouraging the public and private sectors to develop and diversify trade and investment exchange, and to establish strategic partnerships that meet the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, and enhance the prospects for comprehensive cooperation towards the future.
