The artist, Omar Mustafa Metwally, shared a picture with his uncle, the leader Adel Emamon his official page on the social networking site “Facebook”, and commented: “May God protect you from us,” after rumors that the leader had Alzheimer’s disease.
The producer, Issam Imam, brother of the leader, Adel Imam, revealed the developments in his health, and what has been raised about it in recent times, saying: “One is tired of rumors and we are used to them every bit of rumor, and we don’t know what to do.”
He added, during a telephone interview to the “A Last Word” program presented by the media, Lamees Al-Hadidi on the “ON” channel, that he was accompanied by Adel Imam today and they were talking and joking, saying: We were sitting and talking today, and I said, “Issam Dol Mutoni” five or six times before. What else will they say?
And about the “leader” hearing the news of his Alzheimer’s disease, Essam said: “He does not follow social media much, but he asked me, why are you looking to respond and talk about me? I told him, when they say you have Alzheimer’s, I must go and respond.”
And about the reason for not going out to reassure people, he said: “It is not in his nature to appear, he is rarely seen in programs and interventions, and he has a principle throughout his life that his works speak,” indicating that the family was disturbed in the past by such rumors, but now it has become normal.
