French President Emmanuel Macron said that the war in Ukraine is existential for Europe, so he does not rule out the option of sending French troops into Ukraine if it is necessary in the future.
“Recently, we live in conditions where the impossible is happening. There are 1,500 km between Strasbourg and Lviv, do you understand? A total of 1,500. The war is already here, it’s very close,” said Macron, answering a question about the possibility of introducing French troops into Ukraine.

“Currently, we are not in such a situation, but we do not rule out such a possibility,” he said, adding that if Putin is not stopped, the war will not stop in Ukraine. So we need to be ready: “And we are ready.”
As Ukrinform reported, on Friday, March 15, Scholz, Macron and Tusk will meet in Berlin to resolve differences regarding Ukraine.
