One last day for Partn’air members, before the summer break

Thursday, July 7, to close the 2021-2022 season, members of the Partn’air respiratory health network benefited from a day of therapeutic education in the multipurpose room of the St-Eloi neighborhood centre.

Health professionals (pneumologist, physiotherapist, medical adviser in indoor environment and qi gong teacher) intervened to address the themes related to respiratory pathologies and in particular to transmit to patients the knowledge and skills to better manage the disease on a daily basis. .

Each year, from September to June, the Partn’air association organizes weekly collective sessions of adapted physical activities, intended for people with respiratory pathologies (asthma, COPD, emphysema, sleep apnea syndrome, bronchial dilation, hyperventilation syndrome… and consequences of Covid-19).

They are provided by a teacher in adapted physical activities (Eapa) and focus on endurance, motor skills, balance, flexibility, muscle strengthening, group games, walking and relaxation.

Post-respiratory rehabilitation sessions will resume on Thursday, September 8, every Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The first four sessions are free and without obligation for any new registration.

However, you will need to provide yourself with an authorization to practice adapted physical activity issued by your general practitioner or your pulmonologist.
