A tragedy occurred, early this Thursday, in rue Sainte-Anne in Grâce-Hollogne. At 5:45 a.m., firefighters were called to a person in cardiac arrest.
On the spot, they note that it is about CO intoxication. The person is deceased. Several families live there and there are unfortunately other victims. Eight people in total were poisoned. A child, whose days are considered in danger, is one of them.
The emergency medical plan has been triggered. Some victims were to be transferred to the Neder-over-Heembeek military hospital this Thursday morning to be treated in a hyperbaric chamber.
Param ambulances intervened to take care of two wounded; a 7-year-old child and a 37-year-old man who were evacuated to MontLégia.
