OnePlus 10T battery capacity confirmed

After several leaks, the OnePlus 10T is finally set to hit the market next week. The Chinese branch will reveal the same device as OnePlus Ace Pro, while other global divisions will launch it as OnePlus 10T. Essentially, both devices are “performance flagships” with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 150W fast charging. OnePlus is constantly teasing the device and has already confirmed some details about the device in order to keep the hype alive. Now, the company has confirmed the phone’s battery capacity. It is a very good capacity, especially in Compared to other devices that break the 100W charging barrier.

OnePlus 10T comes with a 4800 mAh battery

OnePlus finally confirmed that the device has a 4,800mAh battery. This amount is no surprise to those who accompany the rumor mill. It is 200 mAh smaller than the OnePlus 10 Pro with a capacity of 5,000 mAh. However, it charges much faster. The OP10 Pro has a charging rate of 65 watts in North America, and a charging rate of 80 watts in other regions. On the other hand, OnePlus 10T will offer 150W charging. This technology first appeared with the Realme GT Neo 3 and with the OnePlus 10R, but these devices are basically the same. In fact, there were two versions of both devices, the 150-watt charging versions with a capacity of 4500 mAh “only”. Most smartphone manufacturers have a certain problem in pairing capacity with ultra-fast charging. So, moving up to 4800mAh is definitely a good step forward for OnePlus.

North America is getting a different shipping speed

According to the teaser, the battery in the OnePlus 10T can be replenished with a 150W charge in just 19 minutes. Unfortunately, not all regions will get the same charging speed. Apparently, in North America, the OnePlus 10T will be charged at a maximum of 125W. Of course, this won’t be much of a difference, as it will only take a few minutes to charge the device. And we’re talking about another 1-3 minutes.

You may be wondering why OnePls can’t bring shipping to North America. Apparently, the SUPERVOOC 150W Endurance Edition only supports outlets rated at 220V or higher. In North America, most outlets are either 110 volts or 120 volts. The OnePlus 10T you buy in North America can still hit 150W in other regions. According to the company, the device will only charge at 150W if you get a compatible 150W SUPERVOOC charger. However, the device that comes with the Realme GT Neo 3 is likely to be compatible. The charger also supports the PD charging protocol, so it is possible to quickly charge portable game consoles, tablets and laptops.
