OnePlus 11: a new vibration motor to seduce gamers

The OnePlus 11 is among the first smartphones of 2023, its presentation being planned, in China, from January 4. The smartphone will be formalized there well in advance of its European release and will therefore reveal all of its technical data sheet. While waiting for the first days of January, the first elements released by the brand on its Weibo channel offer something to get an idea of certain features that will allow the terminal to stand out.

The vibrator has long been one of the important elements for OnePlus, which moreover will integrate the Slider Alert, button for activating said vibrator, into its model 11, after having removed it from its previous generation of smartphones. The OnePlus 11 will be provided elsewhere, as we can discover on behalf of the brandof a “bionic vibration motor”. Understand that this motor, which OnePlus announces at 600 mm³, is much larger than the average standard vibrator, estimated at 360 mm³. On the OnePlus 11, this motor is both capable of offering more power and being more precise than traditional vibrators, with superior responsiveness. An enticing promise to, for example, reinforce the feeling of immersion in games, but which, as always, raises the question of uses. For the moment, OnePlus mentions Chinese apps signed Xiaoxiaole (puzzle game) Baidu (keyboard), or Tencent (game Dark Zone Breakout), and it will be necessary to wait for a European announcement to discover the international partners who will exploit the potential of this vibration motor.

On the gaming field, OnePlus also evokes something new, with a display engine allowing compatible games to run at 120 frames per second without loss of quality, and to exceed the framerate native mobile titles. There too the question of compatible games arises, which should be clarified on January 4. Remember that, on this date, only the presentation of the smartphone – and not that of the OnePlus 11 Pro – is planned. To accompany this model clearly oriented towards the gaming mobile, whose technical sheet should also include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from Qualcommheadphones dubbed OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are also expected.
