Onygo Closure: Impact on Deichmann SE Group and Future Plans

2023-10-07 09:40:39

Onygo currently operates over 28 branches in Germany, employing around 280 people. As of now, these would all be affected by the closure of the clothing chain. According to the company’s own information, they are currently in discussions with landlords regarding the “specific closing times […] define”.

After a review of the financial development, it was ultimately the impact on the Deichmann SE group as a whole that prompted the company to close. In case of doubt, loss-making business divisions must be discontinued in order to move the company’s overall situation in the right direction, said the spokesman.
