Brussels/London/Kyiv – After a war-related embargo on coal, wood and other raw materials from Russia, the EU is already considering giving up Russian oil. Should that happen, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) would have to provide millions of additional barrels of oil. However, it will not do that, and that is currently not even possible, said OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo recently.
