OPEC Plus Meeting Completed, Boosting Production 648,000 | RYT9

Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies or OPEC Plus Today’s meeting has been completed. The meeting resolved to increase production capacity by 648,000 barrels per day in August.

The increase in production was in line with the original resolution of the meeting on June 2, in which the meeting on that date decided to increase production by 648,000 barrels per day in both July and August. After increasing production capacity by 432,000 barrels/day in June
