The great adventure continues for Richard Gasquet, winner in the second round of Wimbledon of the American Mackenzie Mcdonald, 55th in the ATP ranking, in four sets (6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3). The Biterrois, 69th in the world, had dismissed the Portuguese Joao Sousa in five rounds in the first round.
His gaze is now turned to the Dutchman Botic Van de Zandschulp, seeded n°21 and winner at the same time of the Finn Emil Ruusuvuori in four sets (3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4).
