The open source modeling software Blender volue et passe en version 3.3. This version is stamped Long Term Support (LTS) and therefore offers extended support. In other words, this version will receive bug fixes over a longer period and is preferred for projects requiring stable software.
As usual, this version brings many features:

  • a system for sculpting hair and body hair. For this, Blender offers a new set of tools for adding, deleting, changing hair properties and styling hair. namely, these functionalities are also accessible through geometric nodes;
  • the ability to create UV maps procedurally (with geometric nodes);
  • a geometric node for finding paths;
  • the Line Art brush respects shadows better and can handle intersections. Its performance has also been improved;
  • Cycles engine rendering now takes advantage of Intel (Arc) and AMD (Vega) GPUs;

But, once more, this summary is far from covering all of the changes. You can therefore consult the details of the official pages.
