A survey conducted by Research Review on behalf of KBC Gwangju Broadcasting asked 1,000 adults aged 18 or older in Gwangju about the next presidential candidate choice. The majority of respondents from the pan-progressive camp preferred Lee Jae-myung from the Democratic Party. As a result, 46.3% of respondents chose him as the premier of the next Pan-progress camp. Other candidates included Lee Nak-yeon, Kim Dong-yeon, Lee Tan-hee, Shim Sang-jeong, and Park Yong-jin. However, Lee Jae-myeong received relatively low approval ratings from those under the age of 30. In the pan-conservative camp, Yoo Seung-min was the preferred candidate. Former Congressman Seung-Min Yoo earned 25.9% and took first place outside the margin of error, followed by Lee Jun-seok, Hong Joon-pyo, Han Dong-hoon, Ahn Chul-soo, Oh Se-hoon, and Won Hee-ryong. The survey showed that younger voters preferred Hong Jun-pyo while older voters showed high support for Seung-min Yoo. Who will be the next presidential candidate chosen by the citizens of Gwangju?
First of all, in the pan-progressive camp, the majority of respondents said they preferred Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party representative.
KBC Gwangju Broadcasting commissioned Research Review to survey 1,000 adult males and females aged 18 or older with addresses in Gwangju for two days on the 9th and 10th, and as a result, 46.3% of them chose Lee Jae-myeong as the next Pan-progress camp. I was selected as the premier.

In the case of CEO Lee Jae-myeong, more than half of those in their 40s or older (55.9% in their 40s, 54.5% in their 50s, 53.1% in their 60s, 47.4% in their 70s or older) received support, while those under the age of 30 (28% under 20s, 30 vs. 38.9%) showed a relatively low approval rating.
In the pan-conservative camp, the preference for former Congressman Yoo Seung-min was the highest.
Former Congressman Seung-Min Yoo earned 25.9% and took first place outside the margin of error.
Lee Jun-seok, former representative of People’s Power, 11.1%, Daegu Metropolitan Mayor Hong Joon-pyo, 10.7%, Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon, 6.0%, Rep. Ahn Chul-soo, 5.0%, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, 4.0%, and Minister Won Hee-ryong, 3.7%.
By age, those in their 40s and older showed high support for former lawmaker Seung-min Yoo, while those in their 30s and younger tended to prefer Mayor Joon-pyo Hong.
The fitness level of those in their 20s or younger was 17.4% Hong Jun-pyo, 10.1% Yoo Seung-min, and 10% Lee Jun-seok, but in their 30s, Yoo Seung-min 19.1%, Hong Jun-pyo 18.5%, Lee Jun-seok 13.2%.
