The Pingtung Police Department said today that the Huilai Police Station received a report from a beverage store on the afternoon of the 8th of this month, claiming that a woman wearing an apple green hard hat and riding a motorcycle ordered 17 high-priced drinks at noon that day, totaling nearly 900. However, on the grounds that it was too late to check in, only 2 cups were taken away on the spot, and the remaining 15 cups were required to be delivered to a merchant on the same road section, and then the merchant paid for it.
The police pointed out that after the woman took 2 drinks, she left the scene on a motorcycle. After the beverage store delivered the remaining 15 drinks to the store designated by the woman, the boss said that she did not buy the drinks and did not know the woman who ordered them.
The police stated that they checked the surrounding monitors immediately after accepting the case, and initially identified the person involved in the case, and will notify them to come to the case. The whole case will be transferred to the Pingtung District Prosecutor’s Office for investigation on suspicion of fraud.
