This last Sunday, in the Saint-Aubain cathedral in Namur, during an emotional celebration presided over by Mgr Pierre Warin, bishop of Namur-Luxembourg, Justin Bailly and Antoine-Marie Ngo Thai Hiep were ordained priests. Shortly before the end of the celebration and the thanks, Bishop Pierre Warin announced the places where the priests will begin their ministry.
Antoine-Marie Ngo Thai Hiep will be curate in the deanery of Bertrix. “A place he knows well for having gone there for an internship. A place where he is appreciated, these are two coaches of parishioners who, on Sunday, had made the trip to come and support Antoine-Marie” we comment on the side of the bishopric of Namur-Luxembourg. Note that this priest is none other than the brother of Antoine Nguyen Thai, ordained 7 years ago and vicar in the Pastoral Unit “Between Ardenne and Gaume.” Father Justin Bailly, for his part, will take over the management of La Roche-en-Ardenne and the “Coeur de l’Ardenne” Pastoral Unit, where he will assume the position of curate. This Pastoral Unit will also experience another change with the departure of Father Raphaël Kwasi for the Namur region. These appointments and this departure will be effective next September.
