Facundo Torres is officially a new player of Orlando City. The American team confirmed it through their social networks in a post where Cuervo is seen wearing the colors of the institution, along with a presentation.
In the statement that accompanies the post, reference is made to statements by the club’s president, Mark Wilf, who states: “We are delighted that Facundo is joining us in Orlando City. He is an exciting player with a bright future.”

Those chaired by Wilf will thus have their third Uruguayan record, taking into account that Mauricio Pereyra is already on the squad and that César Araújo was also hired in recent weeks.

“Facundo is a young player with a lot of potential and he is just beginning to make his appearance on the international stage,” said Luis Muzzi, general manager of Orlando City and executive vice president of the club.
“The danger he creates in attack is going to be a real asset in the offensive section and we’re excited to have him step onto the pitch dressed in purple,” Muzzi said.
It should be remembered that the soccer player who emerged from Peñarol said goodbye in the last hours of the institution and that he is currently training with the Uruguayan team for the games against Paragua and Venezuela for Qualifiers.
