Orlando Pirates: River is not surprised by Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo

Orlando Pirates coach Fernando Jose Ribeiro Alexandre said he was not surprised by Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo’s rapid integration. The latter made an interesting debut with the team by delivering an excellent match against Mamelodi Sundowns (0-0) in the semi-finals of MTN 8. He was chosen man of the match.

Asked about the debut of his new recruit, the Portuguese technician said: “I’m not very interested in individual trophies, but I’m happy for him to have achieved such a performance”, before adding: “This n It’s never easy to come to Orlando Pirates and get everyone to agree quickly enough, because the public here is too demanding.

“He hasn’t stopped doing great things since he arrived and that’s why I’m counting on him as a starter. I don’t think you’re discovering it today because it’s a safe bet and it has already proven itself before joining us,” he concluded.

Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo will have the chance to confirm his good debut when the Pirates travel to Sekhukhune United on Tuesday 4 October for Premiership Matchday 9.
