A Swiss woman who made it to the noble party of musician Elton John (75) is the internationally successful model Manuela Frey. For the step over the red carpet, the 26-year-old insisted on working with the best.
Hair and make-up were done by artists who otherwise style them for fashion shows by Dior, Gucci and Armani. «My dress was specially made for me and the event by Swiss designer Yannik Zamboni tailored. I love his fashion. She reflects me completely. And at the event itself I got a lot of compliments for it,” she enthuses in an interview with 20 minutes. Quite simply, says Frey: “I have very good friends who have a table every year and I follow their invitation.” She was particularly impressed by the fine food, the huge location and the show acts. “There were a total of three halls and the showcase by Elton John and Rina Sawayama was just awesome,” she enthuses. But instead of the musical performance, the health of the host was the main reason for conversation: “Many were surprised that Elton seemed so fragile and could only walk with his partner. That finally caused whispering.”
However, this did not detract from the atmosphere. But on the contrary. The party lasted until the early hours of the morning. “My friends and I were among the last – that’s always the case,” jokes Manuela.
