GSMArena revealed the existence of the WP19 Pro, another rugged smartphone produced by Oukitel. The WP19 Pro is reportedly IP68 and IP69K certified for better dust and water resistance than most contemporary smartphones. Oukitel is also expected to market the device as MIL-STD-810H compliant, a standard that is not independently verified.
By relying on the WP19the WP19 Pro will combine a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 12 GB of RAM and a 22,000 mAh battery. So, the WP19 Pro is expected to be more powerful than its non-Pro sibling while packing a larger 1,000mAh battery. Additionally, the device is expected to come with Android 13 and 256GB of storage which can be expanded with a 2TB microSD card.
GSMArenaadds that the WP19 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, an improvement of 30Hz over the modelWP19. Oukitel will round out the handset with 33W wired charging, a 64MP primary camera, a 20MP night vision camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front camera, all in a 29mm body thick and 592.3 g. Oukitel is expected to announce the availability and pricing of the WP19 Pro in December.
