Every evening this week its share of animated films screened outdoors with the International Animation Film Festival. So find the program for this Tuesday, June 13, for the Pâquier in Annecy and La Turbine in Cran-Gevrier.

Cliffordat 8 p.m. on the Pâquier

Clifford the Big Red Dog is a film directed by Walt Becker, also known to be at the origin of Alvin and the Chipmunks: Full-throttle. In this animated film, synthetic images mingle with real images. Clifford was produced in 2021 and is the adaptation of 80 children’s books, written by Norman Bridwell.

There is no doubt that this film, perfect for sharing a good time, will melt the whole family.

Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro, on the Pâquier at 10:15 p.m.

In December 2022, Guillermo del Toro offered his own version and vision of a great classic, Pinocchio. A bet that turned out to be daring, but which was undeniably successful. The director of The Shape of Water a you Pan’s Labyrinth, Oscar winner, offers us here a poetic interpretation of Carlo Collodi’s tale. A nugget not to be missed under any circumstances.

Forbidden to dogs and Italiansat 10:15 p.m. at La Turbine

Directed by Alain Ughetto and narrated by Ariane Ascaride, Forbidden to dogs and Italians is an animated film dating from 2022. It won the Jury Prize and the Gan Foundation Prize for Diffusion at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2022.

Where and when ? At La Turbine, from 10:15 p.m. to 11:35 p.m. Screening accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people.

Le synopsis

At the beginning of the 20th century, life became very difficult in northern Italy, in Ughettera. The Ughetto family then dreams of starting from scratch by settling abroad. It is said that Luigi is embarking on the crossing of the Alps in order to start a new life in France. A trip that will forever change the destiny of his family.
