‘Overdose’ would be Hideo Kojima’s new horror game, according to a rumor

We’ve been hearing about it for a long time Hideo Kojima have a nuevo horror game in the ovena project in which could be collaborating with Microsoft. After various speculations, the portal Try Hard Guideswhich has recently leaked things like the alleged renovation of Marvel’s Midnight Suns or the map of Call of Duty: Warzone 2has published an article in which he reveals new details after supposedly having been able to see a first leaked game trailer.

As explained on that page, the new game of Kojima Productions Will be called “Overdose” (overdose, if we translate it into Spanish). It is a horror title that would feature the participation of Margaret Qualley, an actress who plays Mama in Death Stranding; however, they claim that this “early footage” anonymously sent to them makes it clear that It’s not about Death Stranding 2, recently leaked by Norman Reedus.

In the trailer you could see Qualley in a blue dress walking down a dark corridor with a lantern in the hand. Although the video shows the character in the third person, supposedly it would imply that it could be played with both that camera and a first person perspective. At the end of the video there is a scare jump scare which is followed by three posters: one in which we read “game over”another in which it is revealed that it is “a Hideo Kojima game” and the end where we see the supposed name of the project.

Possible announcement at Summer Game Fest 2022?

This leak occurs a few days after the celebration of the inaugural gala of Summer Game Fest 2022a broadcast that will take place on June 9 at 8:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) and that could be the perfect setting for the presentation of this trailer due to the friendship between Kojima and Geoff Keighley, organizer of this event. Furthermore, the designer himself recognized some time ago what they are working on two videogamesone of them a triple A that “everyone will want to play” and what does it mean blur the line between different media.
