The launch of Overwatch 2 was not without setbacks… Players were faced with long queues, unstable servers and even bugs impacting their accounts. In order to be forgiven, the Blizzard teams decided to offer all players two cosmetic items: a legendary model for Reaper and a lucky charm. To obtain these gifts, no particular procedure is required. All you have to do is log in to Overwatch 2 between October 25 and December 4 to automatically receive these two items..
Two weekends of Double XP for the Battle Pass are planned, but no date has been provided at this time. We’ll be sure to keep you posted when the information finally comes out.
To get Kiriko’s legendary model, you’ll need to watch 6 hours of Overwatch 2 on your channel of choice on the Twitch streaming platform. To progress, you will need to be logged into your Twitch account, so be sure to identify yourself beforehand. For this offer, you will not have to watch a particular content creator, you can advance on the Drop by watching the channel of your choice. Offer expires October 17 at 8:59 a.m.so if you haven’t started yet, don’t wait too long!
Once you have reached the viewing goal, you will be able to claim your reward through the Drops tab of the Profile menu found at the top right of your screen.
Also on Twitch, you’ll need to watch 5 hours of Overwatch 2 on your content creator of choice to get the Donut tag and lucky charm. This offer will start on October 17 at 8:00 p.m. and end on October 24 at 9:00 a.m.
Once your progress is complete, all you need to do is claim your rewards via the Drops tab on your Twitch Profile.
However, before embarking on this quest for free rewards, we advise you to link your Battle.net account to Twitch. If you haven’t done so yet, here’s how:
- Log in to your Battle.net account
- Go to your page Connexions
- Click on the “Connect” button on the “Twitch” line and follow the instructions.
No Twitch rewards will be given to you if you don’t link your accounts, so think about it.
