“Life has been a obstacle course these last years. Finding a buyer was a difficult mission”, confides Vincent Lucas. With the help of their lawyer, Maître Jean-Michel Gallardo, they drew up a bold and completely legal plan, despite the complexity of gambling regulations.
At 61, the couple want to retire and spend more time with their four grandchildren.
When the dream becomes a lottery: how does it work?
The concept is simple enough for aspiring restaurateurs. Subscribe to one or more shares for €50 each, until October 31. In November 2023, a draw in the presence of a bailiff will decide the future owner of the “Pare-Hunger”. That’s not all: the winner will also pocket the total sum of the shares sold, i.e. an expected amount of 150 000 €.
“Several people have already subscribed in solidarity. If they are drawn, they will designate a person of their choice to take their place”, specify Carey and Vincent Lucas.
Success clauses: 3,000 shares or nothing
However, like any good deal, this one comes with conditions. If less than 3,000 shares are sold by the deadline, the operation will be canceled and each subscriber will recover their investment. “We want a real transmissionwhich is why we will help the new owner succeed”, insist Carey and Vincent Lucas.
