Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Sunday that an agreement had been reached with Russian authorities to buy natural gas and wheat, despite Western sanctions against Moscow.

“We have signed agreements with them (with Russia) to import natural gas because Pakistan’s own gas reserves are running out,” the Pakistani prime minister announced.
According to Khan, his country will import more than 2 million metric tons of wheat and gas, helping to meet Pakistan’s domestic and industrial needs.

“My two recent visits to China and Russia have earned me the respect of Pakistan. They will soon see the benefits of these visits,” Khan stressed, stressing the importance of expanding Pakistan’s relations with the world.
At the same time, the Pakistani prime minister rejected the US-led terrorist plots, “we lost 80,000 lives and suffered 150 billion dollars in damage for participating in the war on terror, although we had nothing to do No Pakistani was involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001,” he said.
