London: Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has met his brother and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif in London. Apart from Shehbaz, other senior party leaders and cabinet members were also present at the meeting, international media reported. Issues such as early elections were discussed.
It is learned that the meeting decided that there was no need to hold early elections. According to international media reports, the agreement was reached to provide financial relief to the people and to make long-term financial decisions.
The decision comes as ousted former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for early elections. All party leaders were consulted on the issue, including early elections.
