This mother of four children lives a particularly complicated daily life. Indeed, while she was still pregnant with triplets, her husband, Guillaume, died suddenly.
Victim of a work accident in August 2020, the father of the family finally died two days later, leaving Laetitia Provenchère alone with their children. Fortunately, she can count on those close to her to support her, be it her own family or her in-laws, but especially her mother, Catherine. During an interview for the podcast Parent Héros, de Parent Épuisé, the grandmother of Nolann, Emmy, Lyna and Noëlya confided in the strength and courage of her daughter.
“She can send me to graze”
Difficult to put in the place of Laetitia Provenchère. His mother, Catherine, does not hide that the period of the death of her son-in-law was particularly complicated: “Afterwards, there may be some slack. We sometimes took our heads off. From fatigue, she can send me graze. But, afterwards, it could be understood, on that, there is no problem, “says Catherine. Very close, the two women supported each other in this ordeal.
They consider themselves both an “old couple”, according to the mother of the triplets, but also “like friends”, according to Catherine: “But it’s the same, we have the right to disagree. things happened naturally. I was doing what she didn’t have the time or the courage to do. She doesn’t like papers and, unfortunately, there are a lot of papers to do in this kind of situation. And, I’ve been there, so I helped her. We complemented each other,” she concluded.
A perfectly present mother
“It’s always the same, if I can help, I’m there, for meals or to pick up Nolan from school, less to pick up the girls from nursery because I don’t like driving his big car, specifies Catherine. I try to be present for the children when Laëtitia goes to the horse, because she resumed in January. It’s her oxygen and she needed it. She still stopped for three years “.
But Laëtitia Provenchère can also count on her husband’s sister and mother to take over: “We are still very close. If she wants to send me out to graze, it’s necessarily easier than with Guillaume’s mother, but yes, we are always present if necessary. Afterwards, Laëtitia does not ask for anything, you have to feel it!”, she concluded. A beautiful close-knit family, which can only relieve her.
