Paris obstructs the opportunity for a reunion between Hakimi and Mbappe

Hakimi’s contract with Saint-Germain expires in the summer of 2026, and Real Madrid was planning to include him a year before this date.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, in the summer of 2025, Real Madrid intended to take advantage of only one season remaining until the end of Hakimi’s contract, in order to pressure Saint-Germain to sell him, return him to the Santiago Bernabeu, and combine him with his friend and current colleague Kylian Mbappe.

It is highly likely that Mbappe will join Real Madrid, on a free transfer, after the end of the current season.

However, the newspaper confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain will not be flexible at all regarding the issue of abandoning Hakimi, because the club considers him part of its future project.

She pointed out that Hakimi is currently one of the leaders of the Parisian team, and his importance will increase when Mbappe leaves this summer.

In addition, Paris Saint-Germain enjoys a large fan following at the Arab level, due to the Qatari ownership of the French team and the presence of the Moroccan star in its ranks.

Therefore, the Parisian club will not easily allow Hakimi to leave in the summer of 2025, as Real Madrid is waiting for.

It is expected that Saint-Germain will begin renewal negotiations with Hakimi early, and will present him with an attractive offer of more than 10 million euros per season, to sign a new contract.
