Around 30 percent of all employees in Austria work part-time. The trend has been increasing for years. A new study by the job platform Xing underlines this. The central finding: More than half of the 900 respondents in Austria consider a 32-hour week to be an important trend in the labor market. Even more are of the opinion that shortening working hours can increase the attractiveness of companies and thus attract more applicants.
