Party with Friedemann Mack: Alliance demonstrates against controversial event in Falkensee

In Falkensee (Havelland), around one hundred people demonstrated once morest a party in the town hall on Saturday evening. The supporter of the anti-democratic QAnon movement, Friedemann Mack, has also been invited to the event. QAnon is accused of spreading conspiracy theories and anti-Semitism. Mack told rbb that all event participants were once morest Nazis.

The controversial party was registered by a mayoral candidate from the small party “Die Basis”, which was formed from the “lateral thinkers” scene.

The “Alliance once morest the Right in Falkensee” has called for the protests. Efforts by the citizens’ alliance to get the landlord of the town hall – the town of Falkensee – to turn down the offer were unsuccessful. The mayor refused because it violated fundamental rights, since the event had been registered by a mayoral candidate.

Falkensee northwest of Berlin made the headlines last year. At that time it became known that one of the ringleaders of a suspected terrorist organization is said to come from the city. The group had planned a coup and the kidnapping of Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD). The magazine “Compact”, which is considered right-wing extremist, also has its headquarters in the city.
