Larian Studios has shared the size of the upcoming “Patch 8” for Baldur’s Gate 3. The developers report that they are putting the finishing touches and the patch is almost ready for release.
So Patch 8 is going to be around 40GB (by the way, Patch 7 was 32GB), so make sure you have some free space. As a result, the total size of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be approximately 104 GB. As with previous patches, saves made in patch 7 or a previous version will no longer be compatible with the update. The ability to download old versions will be removed, except for the latest 2. In this case, patches 6 and 7 will remain available for download.
