“Four rehearsals and a performance” – An acting and improvisation seminar by Konstantinos Bibi at the act theater. Applications for participation can be made either individually or in pairs or even in trios who want to work on something together and have not had the opportunity until now.
The participants, after consultation with Konstantinos, will choose between scenes, poems and monologues from the world repertoire with the central theme of love and death.
Chekhov, Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, Elytis, Cavafy and other great writers and poets will provide us with the source material upon which we will work freely creating paraphrases and improvisations that will guide us in the creation of a research performance to be presented in the Act theatre.
Actors and audience will be placed around a large table in a presentation that will move the boundaries between theater and non-theatre, discussion, free improvisation, poetry and music.
For one and only evening, the act theater will be transformed into a space of fruitful questioning about the two vital issues of art and life, love and death, and how they intersect.
