Patrice Laffont ex-presenter and producer “Numbers and Letters” angry after France 3’s decision to relegate the show to Sundays: “I hesitated to slam the door and stop everything”

It’s the end of an era: after 50 years on the air, the cult game “Numbers and Letters” will no longer be broadcast daily on France 3 but on weekends. The oldest PAF program, after “Le jour du Seigneur”, was launched in 1972 and has been presented for 30 years by Laurent Romejko.

We were waiting for the reaction of Patrice Laffont, emblematic presenter and who is still one of the co-producers of this game, and as usual, he does not mince his words:

“I am deeply disappointed with this decision. It’s sad. I even hesitated to slam the door and stop everything. Besides, it would have been more consistent to end it. We will try to fight until It will last. We will see next June if we are eaten or not”.
