Khorfakan City Municipality announced that the paid parking system will be effective from the 15th of this month. In the first phase, the paid parking system will be installed at Sheikh Khalid Street, Khorfakan Corniche, Rafisa Dam area and Shees Garden.
The municipality also informed that Sharjah citizens above 60 years of age can use the parking spaces for free. To avail this facility, senior citizens must submit their Emirates ID, proof of vehicle ownership and registration details to the acting director of the Khorfakan Municipality, Abdul Aziz Al Araimi.
