The third beta of iOS 17 has references to the Apple Vision Pro in its files, and Steve Moser found some interesting texts that talk regarding the headset but also some of its functions. He shares his findings on Twitter. He starts his thread with a little opening video for Apple Fitness.
First, we learn (quite logically) that the applications can obviously be universal (for Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, etc.) but that it is perfectly possible to offer apps that only work on the headset, such as the various texts indicate this.
Several variations.
Second, the headset will be available in the Find My app like other devices. If you ever forget where you put your $3,500 headset, you can search for it from your iPhone or iPad.
Third, it should be possible to pay for your purchases directly from the headset with Optic ID, as with Touch ID or Face ID.
Finally, in a more anecdotal way, Apple has planned to be able to sign e-mails with ” Sent from my Apple Vision Pro “. And you will find some other minor changes in its fil.
